TOYON CAMPS: APTOS, CA JULY 9-14
Toyon Camp serves children entering 3rd grade through 9th grade. Come spend a week in nature and deepen your relationship with God. At Toyon Camp you will make new friends, play games, hike, learn archery, climb a rock wall, do lots of arts and crafts, play at the beach, eat delicious food, and have the opportunity to participate in our talent show "Toyon's Got Talent". For campers entering 7th grade to 9th grade they will have some additional experiences available to them seeing as they are the "older" kids at camp. 7th through 9th graders will have the opportunity to go on a night hike, attend our camp dance/social, and spend time in small groups with peers their age digging deep into their spirituality. Toyon Camp is a life changing experience that allows campers to learn to live like Jesus, have fun, build relationships, and make memories that will last a life time. We hope you will join our camp family for another summer of fun!

To be eligible to be a counselor at one of our camps you must be 17 years of age and successfully completed the L.I.T (Leaders In Training), or 18 + years of age. Being a counselor is a big responsibility. Along with the application, you will have to participate in a phone interview as well as provide references. The counselor position is for individuals who have had prior camp experience or church leadership positions. The counselor position entails, being responsible for campers health, happiness, and well-being, working as a team with other counselors and staff, leading small group curriculum, being a faith mentor to campers and L.I.T's and most importantly providing a safe, fun, and meaningful experience for our campers. If you have never been to camp before but are 18 years of age, we encourage you to try out our L.I.T position first so you can gain an understanding of Camp life and leadership.
