California-Nevada’s Annual Conference Camping and Retreat Ministry is committed to promote the use of God’s natural surroundings.  We believe that the use of our facilities under well trained leadership will make a positive and lasting impression on children, youth and adults.  Our goal is to create disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world as we serve United Methodist ministries and other non-profit organizations.

Monte Toyon

 

A camp and conference center in Aptos, Santa Cruz County, California for nonprofit groups of 30-146. Secluded among coastal redwoods just inland from the shores of Monterey Bay south of Santa Cruz, Monte Toyon is an inviting and versatile camp and conference center for nonprofit groups.

The site can also accommodate daytime conferences and special events. Take a walk among the Sumner Rhododendron Garden, one of the finest on the West Coast.

Camp Lodestar

 

A camp and retreat center in Wilseyville, Calaveras County, California for nonprofit groups of 12-167, located at an elevation of 3000 feet in the sierra foothills

Camp Lodestar occupies 425 acres of meadow and woodlands. It is rich in varied ecological environments and steeped in the history of the mother lode country.

Camp Lodestar is ideal for outdoor education. On-site Indian grinding rocks inspire a hands-on experience of Native American daily life. Camp Lodestar offers diverse plant and animal life to study and appreciate along trails through the meadow, along a river and pond, and through forests.
